A suspected burglar is arrested after making a loud entrance into a Natomas restaurant.

Late Monday night, an employee at International Bistro along Northgate Boulevard heard loud banging, as if someone was trying to break in.

She ran outside and called police when the banging got a lot louder.

Officers found a man inside the restaurant pretending to be asleep. It appears he broke in to a vacant business next door, then got into the restaurant through a shared wall.

Several items were moved toward the back door by the suspect before he was caught.

The man is identified as 26-year-old Julio Basquez, he now faces charges of burglary, and has outstanding warrants.
