SACRAMENTO-

Sacramento County Sheriff’s deputies say a parolee was arrested Sunday morning after leading them on a chase.

Deputies tried to stop 32-year-old Robert Treadway on a traffic violation near 37th and Vista Avenue. Treadway reportedly turned off his headlights and blew through stop signs and red lights in the residential area before ditching the car and running off.

Treadway was found shortly after with the help of K9 units and extra deputies. Deputies say the BMW Treadway was driving had been reported stolen three days earlier.

Treadway was booked into jail on several evasion charges, along with theft charges.
