Samuel Pharis has been missing for two weeks and the Yuba County Sheriff’s Department says that beyond his car, there’s been no sign of him.

Pharis, 21, was reported missing June 14. His car was found “stuck and abandoned” two days later at the bottom area of the Feather River.

It was locked, with Pharis’ phone and other belongings inside.

Deputies say the area was searched on foot, by air, with dogs, on horseback, ATV’s and watercraft. Still, Pharis has not been found.

Pharis has blonde hair and blue eyes, stands at 5-feet-11-inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.

Anyone with information about where Pharis might be is asked to call Yuba County investigators at (530) 749-7779. The case number is 13-2454.

Thank God the Yuba County Investigators are taking the disappearance of this young man seriously… that's more than can be said of the SFPD and the disappearance of 20 yr old Crishtian Hughes. I hope Fox 40 will have a heart and cover this other heartwrenching, mysterious disappearance….…

I hope that you can get coverage for Crishtian Hughes. Missing a child has to be one of the worst things that I have ever experienced. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all who know Crishtian.
