The Kyburz Fire did not appear to have spread at all Wednesday morning as firefighters brought their containment of the blaze up to 80 percent.

The fire, burning 615 acres of the El Dorado National Forest near Kyburz, was first reported early Monday afternoon. Part of Highway 50 was closed Monday, with lanes fully reopening Tuesday afternoon.

Drivers are still asked to drive slowly and watch for debris and firefighters on the road.

No injuries have been reported so far and no evacuations have been ordered, though one summer camp voluntarily left Monday.

The cause of the Kyburz Fire is still under investigation.
