Rocklin Police are investigating a homicide for the first time in six years, and Monday identified the victim.

Investigators say 51-year-old Robert Earl Vickney, Jr., was killed in his home Saturday night. He was stabbed after an argument with Zachary Kachmar at a birthday party, according to police.

Kachmar was arrested over the weekend.

Detectives are still interviewing witnesses and gathering information about this incident.
