With a very specific message in mind, hundreds of protestors marched from the Federal Court House to the Capitol Saturday afternoon.

“We’re marching with a message” an organizer yelled in to a megaphone. The crowd roared in response: “the message is justice!”

Amongst faces from various organizations and communities, protestors convened  to demonstrate feelings about the Zimmerman verdict. From civil rights activists to local community leaders, the protestors spent the afternoon sharing thoughts about racial profiling, inequality and the Zimmerman trial.

Outside of Sacramento, protests resumed in Chicago, Richmond, Atlanta and Oakland to name a few. The demonstrations in Sacramento remained peaceful.
