Two Men Arrested for Selling Meth in Butte County

Butte County Sheriff’s found two men, drugs, and money in a parked car near Highway 70 and East Gridley Rd. in Oroville on Friday night around 9 p.m.

The driver, Chue Vang, 25, and the passenger, Thai Thao, 36, were both Oroville residents. Since Thao was on Post Release Community Supervision, he was subject to search.

Detectives searched the car and found 3.2 ounces of methamphetamine and $554.oo cash.

Both men were arrested and taken to Butte County Jail for multiple drug related charges. Bail was set at $55,000 and Thao is also being held on a no bail parole hold.
