SACRAMENTO —
Sacramento Metro Fire confirmed Saturday that investigators are looking in to six possible arson incidents in Sacramento County within the past week.
Since Thursday, hundreds of acres have burned. Among them, 40 were in Rancho Cordova along the American River Parkway on Friday. 55 acres caught fire just outside of Downtown Sacramento off of Commerce Circle on Thursday.
Metro Fire told FOX40 Saturday fires which took human life, or threatened structures, will be priority for arson investigators as they sift through their caseload.
“The investigations could take weeks, months, or even years,” said Metro Fire Captain Chris Quinn.
