SACRAMENTO –

Sacramento Police officers arrested a man after spotting him driving a stolen car near Rio Linda Boulevard and Acacia Avenue early Friday morning.

James Walker, 24, was pulled over by officers around 12:30 a.m. Walker was identified as the driver and taken into custody.

Walker was arrested for vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, and violation of his probation warrant.

    Did they use those new license plate readers? Once those are installed on all the cruisers,
    car thieves will be scared to joyride. I wonder how thieves will adapt to the technology.
