Colusa Casino Evacuated Due to Gas Leak

The Colusa Casino Resort was evacuated for a time after a reported gas leak Tuesday afternoon.

According to Caltrans, construction workers may have hit a gas line near the casino just after 2:30 p.m., prompting the evacuations.

Highway 45 moved to one-way controls to facilitate evacuations from the area.

By around 4:10 p.m., authorities told FOX40 that the gas line had been shut off. One-way traffic controls for Highway 45 were lifted just before 4:30 p.m.
