Red Bluff Soldier Killed in Afghanistan

A 22-year-old soldier from Red Bluff was killed Tuesday in Afghanistan.

The United States Department of Defense announced Wednesday that Specialist Nicholas Burley died after his unit was attacked by enemy forces in Pul-i-Alam.

Burley belonged to the 6th Squadron, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division out of For Stewart, Georgia.
