Man Linked to 4 Pot Growing Houses in Tracy

A 32-year-old man was arrested early Thursday morning for running a series marijuana growing operations at several different homes in Tracy.

Tracy Police’s Special Investigations Unit had been looking into Alameda resident Loc T Nguyen after linking him to four different growing operations throughout Tracy.

Since June, authorities have served 15 search warrants at Tracy homes suspected of housing marijuana grows.

Early Thursday morning, a Tracy Police SWAT unit and Alameda Police served a search and arrest warrant along Chestnut Street in Alameda. Nguyen was found at the home and arrested for marijuana cultivation and theft of utility charges.

The U.S. Border Patrol has also placed a “no bail” hold on Nguyen.

More arrest warrants were issued for other suspects linked to Nguyen. Tracy Police notes that they are looking into leads about where the suspects may be.
