Men Storm, Rob Vacaville Jewelry Store in Broad Daylight

Police are looking for four men who robbed a Vacaville jewelry store in a takeover-style Thursday.

According to a release from the Vacaville Police Department, the robbery started just before 11:30 a.m. at the Zales Jewelry store off of Nut Tree Road.

Four men stormed into the store, one man armed with what looked like an assault rifle, and started looting. Two men with hammers are said to have smashed out display cases while another man with a bag collected merchandise.

The exact amount of jewelry taken has not been disclosed.

Authorities say that the robbery is similar in style to other robberies throughout the region. Detectives are busy looking into several leads, police say.
