AMBER Alert for Kidnapped Kids Expands to Oregon

SAN DIEGO (KSWB) – An AMBERAlert was issued in Oregon, Washington and Nevada in regards to the missing teenaged girl Hannah, her brother and their alleged captor.

Authorities are urgently chasing several tips after issuing an Amber Alert in California Monday evening with descriptions of 16-year-old Hannah Anderson, Ethan Anderson, 8, or 40-year-old James Lee DiMaggio. The alert has produced an unspecified number of tips to officials.

An Amber Alert was issued in Oregon at 2 p.m. Wednesday, followed by Washington and Nevada.

There were possible sightings of the suspect’s vehicle on northbound Highway 395 from Alturas, Calif. heading in the direction of Oregon border, according to the alert.
