A police chase ensured, but officer attempting to catch up with the car lost sight of it.
“I’m kind of in shock. It doesn’t seem like the community where something like this would happen … I don’t know it seems bizarre,” said Ryan Newman.
“I think the times, the way the economy has been people are trying to make money any way they can,” said Walgreens customer Justin Apparcel.
Both men told FOX40 that no matter where you live there is no community, no matter how small, immune from crime.
“North Natomas has been having a lot of issues lately and I think the police in Natomas need to do something about it,” said Apparcel.
“No matter where you are stuff happens,” said Newman.
