2 Killed in Butte County Plane Crash

The Butte County Sheriff’s Office says two people were killed late Tuesday morning after a plane crashed near Paradise.

Deputies believe that the plane was a small, two-seat single engine.

According to the FAA, the crash reportedly started a small brush fire.

The area where the plane crashed is described as remote by Sheriff’s deputies. The victims have not been recovered as of Tuesday night.
