Man Arrested for 2010 Murder in Modesto

Police say that a man wanted for the 2010 murder of 30-year-old Brian Morris has been arrested in San Jose.

James Foster, a 50-year-old San Jose resident, was the second suspect wanted in connection the murder. 31-year-old Modesto resident Gregory Fisher was arrested back in June 2012.

Two weeks ago, police say that they downgraded Fisher’s charges to accessory to murder and he was released.

Detectives soon identified Foster as another suspect and tracked him to San Jose. Her was arrested early Tuesday morning and now faces a charge of murder.

Foster is currently being held at Santa Clara County Jail awaiting transfer to Stanislaus County.
