Man Suspected of Stabbing Wife to Death; Friends Say They Saw No Warning Signs

Friends tell FOX40 that there was no indication of any problems between a man and a wife he’s accused to stabbing to death Wednesday morning.

The man, 32-year-old Jose Fajardo, was arrested a little before 1 a.m. after deputies showed up to a home near N. Santa Ana and Escuelita Avenues. At the home, deputies found a woman had been stabbed.

Authorities have not officially identified the woman. Friends also told FOX40 that the woman was an active member of Wilson Elementary School’s PTA, being that her 5 and 9 year old children attend the school.

The children have reportedly been placed in protective custody.

Fajardo is being held at Stanislaus County Jail on a charge of murder. He is ineligible for bail.
