Arrest Made in Teen’s Deadly Stockton Shooting

Stockton Police announced Wednesday morning that they had made an arrest in the deadly shooting of a 16-year-old boy.

Officers responded to reported of a shooting along Salem Way Aug. 30. They found the teen suffering from a gunshot wound, who later died at the hospital, according to investigators.

Detectives soon identified 19-year-old Edgar Frayre as the person they believe fired the shot.

Frayre was found and arrested in San Jose Tuesday, and booked into jail on suspicion of homicide.
