Bay Area and Cal Fire crews are trying to contain a wildfire growing near Mt. Diablo State Park.

The fire is burning off of Morgan Territory Road, southeast of the small city of Clayton.

Officials are concerned as the fire is noted to have large growth potential, Cal Fire says.

About 50 to 75 structures are threatened, Cal Fire says. Mandatory evacuations are in effect for Oak Hill Lane, Curry Canyon and Curry Point.

The fire has grown to over 800 acres as of Sunday night. Crews report 10% containment. Over 175 firefighters are battling the blaze.
