Homicide detectives have made two more arrests in a Stockton home invasion robbery that ended with the murder of one of the suspects.

Last week, detectives arrested 40-year-old Stephen Rodriguez in connection to the murder of 24-year-old Angel Lopez-Mendez. Rodriguez is said to be Lopez-Mendez’ brother.

Tuesday, detectives arrested Herbis Saucea, 29, and Matthew Ornelas, 27, as well after getting some information that the two were connected to the murder.

Sauceda was arrested in Apple Valley, while Ornelas was arrested in Stockton.

The original incident happened along Julian and Anne Streets in Stockton on Sept. 2. Authorities have not said what led from the home invasion robbery to the shooting.
