After 10 years of playing on Saturdays during the day, the Hiram Johnson High School football team will hit the field under Friday night lights.

Constant fights and a lack of lighting made the school change game times a decade ago, but an exception is being made for homecoming 2013.

TNT Industries reportedly donated six portable stadium lights, and the Sacramento City Unified School District assigned an additional four police officers to keep an eye on the game.

After Friday night’s game, the school will resume Saturday games.
