A jury convicted a Dixon man last week of child molestation.

Kevin Ellis was taking care of two boys – family members – placed in his care from March to August in 2009. The boys were in the fourth and fifth grade age range.

Ellis was convicted of five counts of child molestation Friday.

The court says victims testified and said Ellis gave them marijuana, showed them porn videos and molested them several times during those months.

Police say the assaults happened in West Sacramento.

Ellis, 55, was arrested in March of 2012. He faces up to life in prison, and will be sentenced Nov. 22.
