FootballFORT WORTH, Tex. (HLN) Yes it was a blowout. In fact, a final score of 91-0 goes beyond “blowout.”

It was a complete slaughter. An ugly, lopsided, Texas-sized mess. No debate there.

But does it qualify as bullying the losing players?

One dad thinks so.

He’s filed a complaint against the coaching staff of powerhouse Aledo High School near Fort Worth, saying they basically “bullied” his son by running up the score on his team, Western Hills High.

The Aledo Independent School District plans to investigate the complaint. Superintendent Derek Citty says coaches from both teams talked before and during the game about the possible outcome and that they agreed to keep the clock running to help Western Hills.

“What’s really atypical is the parent went to our website and filed a bullying complaint against the entire coaching staff and named the victims of the entire team,” Citty said, adding that the mad dad might be regretting his decision.

“He was emotional after getting beaten so badly. It may be an overreaction.”
