Sacramento City District 3 Councilmember Steve Cohn joined us in studio Wednesday to discuss the latest developments in the diverse nieghborhoods of East Sacramento, South Natomas and the rapidly growing River District.

An active Councilmember since 1994, Cohn has seen much change in the Sacramento.  His efforts to revitalize the aging train depot has resulted in improvements to the 7th busiest Amtrak station in the nation, a major transportation hub that serves thousands of commuters and travelers daily.

A firm believer that the proposed downtown sports and entertainment arena will bring nothing but growth and prosperity, Cohn is also a firm believer in the democratic system.  He discusses the grass roots efforts to put the arena proposal on an upcoming ballot, and his views on moving Sacramento to a strong Mayor style of government.
