Police are looking for a man who not only looks to have stolen a state parks vehicle, but also stuffed it full of marijuana.

Sacramento County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Lisa Bowman tells FOX40 that they were following a car near Arden Way and Wright Street when the driver bailed. This was around 7:35 p.m.

Since then authorities have been searching the area looking for the man, focusing their efforts near Arden Way and Bell Street, where they believe he could be holed up in an apartment.

Deputies note that the car he was driving looks to be an unreported stolen state parks vehicle. They also found a “significant amount” of marijuana in the car.

Bits and pieces of what is believed to be the man’s clothing has also been scattered throughout the area.

More information to come. We’ll keep you posted on any updates.
