18-year-old Matthew Hanslick has Down syndrome. He doesn’t know it yet, but he’s about to get a brand-new tricycle.

If this whole thing looks familiar, that’s because it is. Not too long ago, back on Aug. 6, Tammy Gellis’ son Troy, 28 and deaf, had his trike stolen. After making calls and connecting total strangers, FOX40 was able to get him a new trike.

“It was overwhelming. It motivated me to want to do something as well,” Tammy said.

Now, Gellis is paying it forward. This time, she is the one who brought more random people together to give a friend of a friend’s son a trike.

“It means a lot. There’s not many places we can take him,” said Hanslick’s mother.

The laughs haven’t stopped. But the smile says it all.
