Firefighter: If Someone was inside this Home, they Wouldn’t have Survived

Fifty-foot flames shot out from a Stockton home early Wednesday morning, shattering windows and destroying everything inside.

The fire started around 3:30 a.m. on Lighthouse Drive near I-5.

At one point, six fire engines and two trucks were parked outside of the home.

The homeowner, was not in his home at the time and the fire did not spread to neighboring homes.

Firefighters said if he had been home, there would have been no chance he would have survived.

Firefighters said the cause of the fire is unknown. They said they were not going inside the home at this point, because they fear the roof may collapse.
