Authorities have identified the gunman in a shooting that left a woman dead on Thanksgiving Day.
Sacramento Police are saying that 30-year-old Avery Draughty is the person who killed 31-year-old Tiffany Silva in a shooting near Balsam Street and Roanoke Avenue. He should be considered armed and extremely dangerous, police say.
The shooting happened just before 3 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. Witnesses say Draughty sped away from the scene in a 2-door car with his girlfriend.
Draughty’s girlfriend – 28-year-old Wanette Armstrong – has been identified as a person of interest in connection to the shooting, police note.
Anyone who knows where the two may be is asked to immediately call Sacramento Police at (916) 264-5471.
