A driver who mistook the gas pedal for the brake is to blame for a car that crashed into the Napa Auto Parts store early Sunday afternoon, Metro Fire officials say.
Dispatchers got the call about a crash at the Watt Avenue, just off of Highway 16, store around 1 p.m.
At the scene, crews found that the car was all the way inside the store. One customer was hurt, but got away with only minor injuries.
Investigators believe that the diver of the car mistook the gas pedal for the brake.
Due to the damage caused by the car, the store will be closed for the time being.
