Police in Lincoln say they have arrested a suspect believed to be connected to five burglaries over the past few months.
With the help of Rocklin Police, Lincoln Police Detectives showed up at a home along S. Grove Street in Rocklin Monday to serve a search warrant, according to a release from the police department. Inside the home, officers say they found a bunch of stolen property.
Detectives believe that 19-year-old Kevin Austin Tiangtrong, who was also found in the home, is connected to the at least five residential burglaries that happened throughout the Sun City Lincoln Hills community from Nov. 1 to Dec. 27. Tiangtrong was arrested and charged with burglary, theft of a credit card, receiving stolen property, forgery and conspiracy charges.
Authorities are thanking surveillance video from a business in Rocklin, where one of the credit cards was used, in helping link Tiangtrong to the burglaries.
Along with credit cards, police note that televisions, computers, jewelry and other miscellaneous items were taken in the burglaries. Many of the items found in Tiangtrong’s home were immediately identified as stolen thanks to detailed descriptions and serial numbers given to police.
Anyone with more information on the burglaries is asked to call the Lincoln Police Department at (916) 645-4040.
