Two recent instances of a man groping women in Sacramento has put police on high alert.

Both reports have a similar description of the man and happened a day apart, so police believe it was the same person.

The man reportedly wore a black or gray color hooded sweatshirt with sweatpants and was on a green or teal colored bike when he groped the women.

The first incident happened at U and 11th Streets around 11 a.m. Tuesday. An elementary school is located at the same intersection.

The second incident happened around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday on H Street near 57th Street.

“We don’t typically see these kinds of incidents and when we do we obviously go on high alert,” Officer Doug Morse told FOX40.

Police are urging the community to report incidents if they see something that stands out. They are also encouraging everyone to be aware of their surroundings.
