The Sacramento Animal Hospital on 57th and H Streets has outgrown its current location, and will move in May.
Fortunately for pet owners, the hospital won’t be moving very far.
The hospital will move next door, to a 5,700 square-foot, two-story facility. Its current site will be torn down and converted into a parking and landscape area.
With the move, doctors stress the importance of tradition at the hospital.
“I have three generations of clients that have been coming to see me, which is fabulous,” Dr. Karen Mulvihill said Tuesday. “So, we really wanted to stay right here and we were able to purchase Reed’s Meats next door, so it worked out beautifully for us.”
Upgrading the facility, the hospital says, will give staff more space and state-of-the-art equipment.
