Behavior Hospital Patient Arrested After Throwing Knife at Nurse

StocktonSTOCKTON –

A patient at St. Joseph’s Behavior Hospital in Stockton was arrested after assaulting an employee and throwing a pocket knife at a nurse Saturday morning.

At about 8:15 a.m., a patient, 31-year-old Patrick Johnston, became agitated with the medical staff. Johnston began to assault an employee before pulling out a pocket knife and making threats. Johnston then threw the knife at the nurse.

Officers soon arrived on the scene and took Johnston into custody without incident.

Johnston was booked for assault with a deadly weapon.
