Inside one of Nordstrom’s flagship stores in Arden Fair Mall, the fine jewelry department vacant and roped off.
“Wow that’s crazy,” said Norm Tuatoo who saw the aftermath of the heist.
Three masked men forced their way into the store around 3:47 a.m. Friday morning.
Once inside, an employee spotted the men and called police. The men were in and out, spotted on surveillance video with what appeared to be large bags.
Nordstrom did call FOX40, but wouldn’t confirm what items were stolen or the value.
Detectives are saying the way the burglars tactfully plotted out their crime, they believe they’re experienced. Police will scour California and across the United States looking for similar crimes, hoping to nab the people responsible.
