The National Weather Service said Monday afternoon that northern California will see two storms move in this week.
The first begins late Monday night into Tuesday. Elevations above 5,000 feet will see a few inches of snow, and the valley will feel a little cooler. Thunderstorms were also said to be a possibility for the valley and foothills.
The second storm will happen Friday through Saturday, with cool temperatures and possible thunderstorms returning.
Rain is expected mid day Tuesday, and Friday into Saturday.
