The Elk Grove Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying two suspects involved in an armed robbery of a Shell Gas Station.

The robbery occurred on Wednesday, April 30th, at around 3 a.m. The gas station is on the corner of East Stockton Boulevard and Bond Road, near Highway 99.

The two men (pictured left) entered the gas station and held the employee at gunpoint. The suspect with a handgun walked the employee over to the register while the second suspect with a shotgun ordered the employee to open up and clean out the register into a plastic bag. The clerk complied and was instructed to lay down on the floor in a back storage room, where the suspects closed him in.

Due to the ski masks the suspects were wearing, there is little information available on the suspects appearance. Anyone with information regarding this robbery is asked to call the Elk Grove Police Department Detective Bureau at (916) 478-8060 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357).  Callers to Crime Alert can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00.  Tips can also be sent via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on a cell phone, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message.
