The U.S. Department of the Interior shared this photo of a retired law enforcement officer and warmed a lot of hearts around the country.

James Geier went on a bit of a journey with his disabled son Jonah. According to James’ daughter Laura, James wanted his son to experience Arches National Park because of its “natural beauty and strength.”

James Geier hiked while towing his son throughout Arches National Park in Utah. The two travelled over 3 miles, over slickrock trails, and up steep steps in order for James Geier to be able to share the views with his 18-year-old son.
