Deadly Crash Happens Right Outside Hospital

Police in Modesto say a deadly crash happened right outside a Kaiser Permanente hospital Monday evening.

Just before 8 p.m., investigators say a minivan with five people in it collided with a pickup truck between Bangs and Kiernan Avenue.

Police said the driver of the truck was not injured, but two people in the minivan died and a third is reportedly in critical condition.

A cause of the crash was not immediately known.
