A family struggling with a sudden and tragic loss, now trying to pick up the pieces and raise awareness in Sacramento.
Family members of seven-year-old D’asiah Bailey say she died of an asthma attack on Friday.
This as chronic lower respiratory diseases cause over 130,000 deaths per year in the United States.
Bailey’s family is now working to raise funeral expenses.
The family will have a candlelight vigil on Saturday, to continue to raise awareness.
They’ve also launched a website to raise money. For more information visit giveforward.com, and search “D’asiah Bailey.”
