Investigators have revealed new details on what led a 16-year-old boy to shoot and kill a 54-year-old former Marine in his own home.
Sacramento County Sheriff’s deputies say a verbal argument occurred after Bill Stidman discovered a teenage boy visiting his teenage daughter Sunday night.
Stidman was rushed to the hospital, where he died from his wounds.
The teen was arrested Tuesday night.
The District Attorney’s Office would not confirm whether or not the 16-year-old suspect will be tried as an adult or a minor.
