Suspect Arrested in Bell Street Murder

Hishima Jay Small, 26, was arrested for the murder of Kareem Johnson and is being held without the chance of bail.

Police have arrested the man they say is responsible for the murder of Kareem Johnson, according to Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department.

Johnson, 34, was shot on June 13th around 5:30 a.m. on Bell Street near Marconi Avenue, and police quickly released a warrant for their number one suspect.

Homicide detectives arrested their initial suspect, Hishima Small, 26, Friday night for the murder, and he is currently being held by police without the chance of bail.
