“COPS” TV Show Crew Member Shot and Killed While Filming

OMAHA, Nebraska (KMTV)-

A crew member for the reality show “COPS” was shot and killed as he was recording a police response this week.

Officers in Omaha, Nebraska were called to an armed robbery at a Wendy’s restaurant late Tuesday night.

The tv show member was part of the crew recording on the officers’ response to the situation, when things escalated.

The “COPS” crew member was hit by at least one bullet during a gun battle between officers and the robber.

He was taken to the hospital, and later died, according to KMTV. The station cites Langley Productions, who produces “COPS”, in identifying the cameraman as Bryce Dion.

The robber was also hit by gunfire, and died.
