Pizza for life. That’s the grand prize being offered by a Sacramento pizza restaurant for designing the winning box art.

Pizza Rock’s chef-owner Tony Gemignani is calling all artists young and old to help design a box.

From now until September 21, artists can stop by Pizza Rock on K Street and fill out a submission form and pick up a plain box.

Then design! Gemignani just asks the artists to include the phrase “Respect the craft” somewhere on the front of the box, somewhere in the design.

The top 10 pizza box entries will be framed and put on display at Pizza Rock. The grand prize winners in the 12 and younger, and 12 and older age brackets will each win one pizza a month, for the rest of their life.

Runner ups will still win some pizza, in the form of gift certificates and Pizza Rock swag.

For those who are not artistically-inclined, plan to attend the Pizza Box Art Auction at the end of October, where proceeds go to charity.
