A driver flipped their car on a highway exit ramp Friday morning.

A car flipped and landed into a tree around 4 a.m. off the northbound Highway 99 Twin Cities Road exit.

Initial reports indicate the car exited the highway, but the driver failed to complete the turn, flipping upside down. The driver suffered from minor injuries, and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Traffic on northbound Highway 99 was not impacted.  The car has been towed and the off ramp is now open.
