Walmart Market, and 95 Jobs, Coming to Citrus Heights

Ninety-five jobs are coming to Citrus Heights with a new Walmart Neighborhood Market, and the retail giant is hoping to hire veterans.

Veterans who meet the company’s qualifications and have been in active duty within the last year will be offered a position.

A hiring center has been set up at 8065 Madison Avenue, in the Almond Orchard shopping center. Applicants can show up Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The store is set to open this winter.
