Many people at Sacramento International Airport were in Giants gear to support their favorite baseball team, but FOX40 found one fan who was there to fly to Kansas City for the World Series despite not having a ticket to the game. At least, not having a ticket yet.

"Gotta be there. I've been a season ticket holder for the last 30 years, I've been to the last 37 [Giants] home openers," said Mark Adams. Adams is a life-long Giants fan who has traveled to the World Series several times to see his team play. He went to Anaheim in 2002, Arlington in 2010, and Detroit in 2012.

As for tickets, he and his friends have done it the same way each time. "We go without tickets and we have not missed a game yet," he said. "You have to plan ahead and you have to gamble a little bit."

Adams says sometimes the park releases last minute tickets that are available for purchase, or he can buy his tickets from 3rd party sources. Ultimately though, he searches for the best deal.

FOX40 will be in Kansas City for game 6 and potential game 7 for the World Series.
