Police arrested a man on Saturday night following a case that had firefighters warning people about a man impersonating a firefighter.

According to the Citrus Heights Police Department, a man from Roseville was arrested after victims came forward with new information about him, identifying him as their suspect.

On Friday, police responded to a call at Sunrise Vista Mobile Home Park where people said a man who claimed to be a firefighter needed to perform smoke and carbon monoxide detector inspections inside their homes. They later realized the man had stolen items from at least two homes.

On Saturday, additional victims came forward with more information on the suspect, and investigators arrested Craig White, 30, in connection with the burglaries.

Police say White is a firefighter/paramedic with Sacramento City Fire Department, and is currently on administrative leave. He was booked into county jail on five charges of burglary and three counts of elder abuse.
