The fourth person in July's deadly Bank of the West robbery and chase has been arrested, Stockton Police Chief Eric Jones announced Monday.
Pablo Ruvalcaba, 21, was arrested by federal agents in Merced. He is accused of aiding and abetting the three alleged bank robbers.
Three men walked into the bank, robbed it and took three hostages before leading police on a chase through San Joaquin County, investigators say. Two of the bank robbers and hostage Misty Holt-Singh were killed in the shootout that ended the chase.
Suspect Jaime Ramos, 19, survived the shootout and is facing more than 30 charges.
Ruvalcaba turned himself Sept. 16 after being identified as a person of interest but was released the same day.
Investigators believe he dropped Ramos, Gilbert Renteria and Alex Martinez off at the bank.
Ramos and Ruvalcaba were both indicted Monday. According to the San Joaquin County District Attorney's Office, both men are eligible for the death penalty.
