The Sierra could see snow for Christmas Day. A storm moves in Wednesday afternoon, bringing just a little rain sometime after 1 p.m. and will move out quickly.

The storm will hit the mountains a little harder. Grass Valley could see a half inch of rain, but points further up the hill will get snow.

A flurry will be seen in the air down at the 3,500-feet elevation. Some ski resorts near Lake Tahoe could see several inches of snow.
